Concomitant administration of lenvatinib and camrelizumab for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, and its effect on hepatocellular carcinoma control

Purpose: To study the efficacy of combined use lenvatinib and camrelizumab in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) therapy, its impact on disease control rate (DCR).
 Methods: The medical records 92 HCC patients treated at Oncology Department People’s Hospital Dongying, China (April 2019-April 2020), were chosen for analysis, assigned into group (SG, n = 46) reference (RG, based odd even hospital admission no. All received specific routine treatments. In addition, SG was with combination camrelizumab. After treatment, liver function levels serum tumor markers determined.
 Results: Compared RG, had significantly lower indices {alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total bilirubin (TBiL), aspartate (AST)} {alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), alpha-fetoprotein variant (AFP-L3) Golgi protein 73 (GP73)} (p < 0.001); higher DCR 0.05), score Eastern Cooperative Group (ECOG), Karnofsky (KPS) 0.001).
 Conclusion: may be a reliable strategy reducing marker patients, improving patients’ performance status, enhancing DCR.
